Finishing
So I threw some spray paint on that's a pretty close match, and used a flush cut bit in the router to open up the foil tracks:
Then had to connect the two parts of each track with some very careful freehand routing to get fairly smooth transition. And finally router out the tracks through the back of the board:
I then did some clean up, ya know, scotch-bright pad all the pain to a mat finish, smooth out the track edges, and fill in any pinholes with super glue. And now it's done. I haven't opened the tuttle box back up since my gear is all plate mount. But it'd be easy to do if I ever need to. The new setup is much easier to attach/remove the foil from, and I can position the foil back further than I used to with balances a little better with the footstrap placement. It cost maybe $400 or so for parts and tools, but at least half of that is the router, which I'll use for other stuff in the future. Time-wise it took most of a weekend and some evenings, but that's because it was all a first-run. Any future board modifications will likely be faster. Now I can go foiling again after having to use the old crappy Slingshot Dialer 145 board for 3 weeks.
